Industry: Aerospace (Manufacturing Engineering Department)
Location: Wolverhampton
Duration:6 Months
Pay: £15p/h (negotiable dependent on experience)


Job Summary
·To provide technical administration support to either a manufacturing engineering function (department) or to aid the New Product Introduction process.
·Due to the nature of the business and exposure, all candidates must be holders of a EU Passport

Responsibilities
·Liaising with engineers and sorting through technical documentation
·Ordering parts into the organisation
·Request and obtain quotations for indirect (non-production) purchases.
·Creation and booking in of indirect Purchase orders.
·Control and management of production consumables.
·Administer ECR/ ERN (Engineering change control) system for area, by distribution, control and follow up of change requests.
·Administer MCR (Manufacturing Change Request) system for area of responsibility, distribution, control and follow up of change requests.
·Create and maintain tooling records.
·Add documentation to CIMAGE (document database)
·Add items to ITC database and log exports of technical data.
·Complete and administer IT requests
·If applicable, create, control and issue low level work instruction changes.
·If applicable, administer (SOCR) Sealed Operation Change Request.
·If applicable, administer tooling configuration control (TDO system).
·Any other activities as deemed required by an ME Team leader.

Advantageous Qualifications/ Experience
Ideally a time served technical administrator (Clerk) preferably from an engineering background, or a time served engineering apprentice with knowledge of the Aerospace industry, or

Ideally With 'A' level or equivalent engineering vocational qualification(s) and a minimum of grade 'C' or above in GSCE English and Maths
