On behalf of our client, we have an opening for an Audit & Assurance Coordinator for a long term/on-going contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an Operator based in Aberdeen.

The main purpose of the role will be to provide through focused adherence with the Regional Assurance Schedule coordinate and facilitate all internal assurance activity for the Operations, Projects and HSSE departments within the Company.

Core Duties

Act as the focal point for Audit & Assurance Management System.
Responsible of tracking compliance with the Regional Assurance Schedule.
Responsible for producing monthly and quarterly audit and assurance reports for management.
Responsible for quality control of the information within the Audit & Assurance Management System.
Responsible for content of the update and management of the Audit & Assurance Management System User Guide
Responsible for the training/coaching of contractors and staff with regards to the Audit & Assurance Management System.
Responsible for the administration of the Process Safety Management dashboard.
Improve the quality of audit question sets and the use of these across the business.
Drive an improvement in the quality of audits across all assets by coaching users in audit best practices and providing technical training.
Review audit actions, identify trends and interface with the action owners.
Assist in the promotion of Operational Integrity across the company.


Experience in the field of audit and assurance within an engineering environment.
Knowledgeable in process safety performance and barrier management.
Self-motivated and highly organised individual who has strong interpersonal and team working skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent IT skills, including MS office.
Working knowledge of information management systems and databases would be advantageous.
