Business Development Manager- Aerospace
Location: Marston Green
Role type: Permanent
Salary £45K-55K DOE
Hours: 37/ week

Our client, who is a globally recognised Aerospace Engineering facility, is looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for defining and developing the short-term and long-term strategic goals in support of our client's overall strategic sales plans within the MRO environment
Duties include:
* Responsible for the overall management of all allocated strategic and operational Marketing activities.
* Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas
* Take ownership of the management of the allocated sales and marketing functions of the business, including the liaison with the wider organisation
* Proactively manage sales opportunities in order to meet annual sales target
* Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s growth targets
* Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets
* Work with the Financial and Commercial teams in preparing pricing models for customer proposals.
* Provide the Executive team with accurate reporting and sales forecasts.
* Overseeing the development of marketing literature

Requirements of the role:
* Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions
* Must have experience of working in a corporate/business focused environment and defence experience would be preferable
* Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business

* PC Literate (knowledge of SAP required)
* Able to communicate at all levels
* Demonstrable experience in the management of key accounts required

There is a requirement to travel overseas to perform this role (40% to 50%)
