Our client a well established Crane Manufacture specialising in the Nuclear Industry are currently seeking a Site Manager (Electrical) to join their team in Wolverhampton. The position has arisen due to expansion and now they need a Contract Manager to oversee operations.

Reporting directly to the Director/Business Manager, the Site Manager (Electrical) will manage and oversee a variety of Crane Installation, Refurbishment and Upgrade projects throughout the UK. The position is primarily office based in Wolverhampton however, an occasional site based presence will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

*Responsible for the preparation of tenders, documentation and for the professional performance of projects under his/her control, in terms of budgets, costs, specifications and QESH.
*To liaise with the Director/Business Manager to achieve the best utilisation of site labour and resources, to maximise profitability, programme completion and QESH requirements.
*To provide timely and up to date project status reports as required by the Director/Business Manager.
*To promote and maintain a safe working environment and to assist the QESH representative to investigate any accident or near miss relating to site activities.
*Responsible for the on-going development of customer relations
*Undertake any other duties which may be necessary to ensure quality, safety, quantity and the needs of the business are met.
Based at Wolverhampton, working UK and overseas as required.

Experience and Qualifications:

Ideally to have:
*Site or project engineering experience
*H&S qualification e.g. NEBOSH certificate or IOSH Managing Safely
*Site operation know how
*IT skills
*Communication skills
*ONC in an engineering discipline with an electrical bias or equivalent.
*Full valid driving licence

In return the company will offer a salary of 30k - 35k alongside a company car and excellent benefits.
