Goods Receipt Operative

As a Goods Receipt Operative you will be responsible for the accurate and timely receipt and identification of received goods, management of goods put-away, picking and line-feed. Additionally, responsible for maintaining accurate stock control within the stores location.
In this role you will:
Goods receipt and inspection
Visual checks of the part packaging before accepting delivery of goods
Undertaking Certificate of Conformity (CoC) paperwork inspection of goods received against special processes, drawing revision, purchase order, material specifications, etc. per SOP "CTG-QI-16-PRO-00" requirements
Completing transactional activity to formally receipt goods into the SAP (and where required Adept) systems

Put-away, pick and line-feed
Put-away of physical goods (once received in SAP) into the appropriate storage location
Conduct regular Kanban walks throughout the production lines to enable timely goods replenishment
Picking of goods from stores location in accordance with demand requirements from production lines
Undertaking SAP transactional activity to formally issue the picked goods from the stores location into the appropriate production line
Organise and conduct regular 5s audits within the stores location

Cycle counting
Support and conduct monthly cycle counts in line with the cycle count process and enter associated results into SAP

You will bring to the role:
Technical Competencies;
PC Literate and experience using ERP Systems, preferably SAP
Ideally holds a current fork lift truck licence
Ability to read Engineering Drawings
Understanding of Material specifications/requirements
Understanding of Special Processes

Good organisational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
Highly motivated and able to assert self within team environment
Ability to work on own initiative
Excellent communication skills

As part of the legal requirement to comply with international trade controls, we require all candidates to successfully complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check including criminal record checks.
