Operations Superintendent urgently required for Operator based in Aberdeen on a 12 month contract basis, with potential for extension.

Applicants must have previous relevant experience and be available at short notice.

Candidates with experience of supporting projects consisting of offshore rigs manned and unmanned with upgrade work supported by barges are highly desirable.

Key duties will relate to Project Interface, Turnarounds and 90 day plan.

Role Overview/Responsibilities:

Act as delegate Operations Manager
Based onshore
Management of the 90 day offshore operations plan and provide support to 28 day plan owned by Offshore OIM.
Shutdown preparation, responsible for long term shutdown planning and operational deliverables to the shutdown team.
Responsible for planning activities with key internal and external interfaces.
Interface for Production Projects
Focal point for offshore, working with the Competency Team on Competency of offshore workforce.
Regular offshore trips to enhance communication and promote understanding of the field plan/annual goals.
Support the recruitment selection for onshore and offshore teams.
Work on peer to peer relationship with OIM's

Applicants must has considerable experience in oil and gas industry, predominantly gained in a production operations environment.
Operational Interface for offshore projects and barge campaigns
Experience of turnaround preparation, management and support.
