My client, an industry leading aerospace company, are currently searching for a Operations Technical Support Representative to join their team in Salisbury on a 5 Month contract basis.

Location: Salisbury
Duration: 5 Months

General Role and Competencies
The Operations Technical Support Representative role is designed to provide direct POC for the shop floor to carry out control and monitoring of Technical instructions, formalize planning changes and coordinate pulse handover meetings during the delivery of Aircraft Maintenance, Major Repairs and Modification work to aircraft. Reporting and accountable to the Operations Manager, the competencies of an Operations Technical Support Representative will include being:
*A good communicator, with a demonstrable ability to communicate the technical work requirements to their team, to ensure it is understood and in order to continually develop the team members knowledge base
*Capable and experienced in sequencing and controlling demanding workloads, on time, to budget and to the required standard
*Capable of understanding and interpreting Technical data
*Able to demonstrate understanding/knowledge of leadership skills/ styles and the ability to apply them in effective management

*Control and distribution of Technical Job Packs to the shop floor generated from the approved Block Point engineering contained within Common Source Database (CSDb).
*Liaising with Engineering to obtain additional supporting Technical Information for incorporation into TJPs when required.
*For the production, coordination, updating and maintenance of the Over and Above (O&A) Trackers, for all aircraft in work
*For producing and sending weekly pdf copies of the outstanding O&A work, to the customer mailing list, for approval
*For producing an O&A 'Master Plan', to show total O&A load in order to permit Operations Management to manage resourcing appropriately
*The conduit for planning changes from the shop floor into planning change board.
*Chair for pulse handover meetings and pulling required stakeholders together.
*Conduit between the shop floor and planning during Trial/Proof Installations.
*Initiating Continuous Improvement ideas to make technical document control/usability easier for touch labour staff.
