Roevin are delighted to be working in partnership with our large Manufacturing client in Glasgow.

This role will be a key member of the factory management team, working alongside production, engineering, planning & materials and administrative colleagues. This post will develop, implement, maintain and audit the quality assurance, risk management and environmental systems and plans across the site to minimise risk and ensure continuous accreditation to the agreed systems.

Our client is looking for someone with in depth knowledge and understanding of ISO, BS, HACCP and BRC quality systems. The successful candidate will have experience of managing a small team within an FMCG environment.

Main accountabilities:

-Set site standards in conjunction with the Group Quality Manager and key business
stakeholders and ensure compliance with Quality, Food Safety, GMP, Environmental, Customer
& legislative requirements across the group
-Play a proactive role in improving product quality, food safety and site standards through
training, support, development of appropriate process controls, toolbox talks, road shows and
proactive engagement of employees across all business areas
- Benchmark and drive best practice / policy deployment / training requirements across all sites
and branches and keep the sites up to date with new initiatives
-Proactively provide project support and training where appropriate to ensure quality and
safety standards are built into all projects
-Collate and publish Quality Performance Reports and results at appropriate Management and
functional meetings and lead discussions centred around continuous improvements
-Keep all sites and branches up to date with changes to legislation and external certification
standards as well as analysing and advising on its potential implications for the business
-Proactively support projects, risk assessments and product launches in
conjunction with the site team and key stakeholders
-Lead the site HACCP Team and provide support and advice
-Advise and support sites in the adoption of Process Control
-Implement and train out all changes to BRC and ISO standards ahead of next round of audits
-Lead and drive compliance against External and internal Audit schedule across the group
-Complaint Investigation with site teams and Reporting / KPI reporting for site
